Description

This is a new course which allows you to combine the study of education with computer science.

This is a three year concurrent programme and at the end of this three year course graduates will be eligible to teach education and computer science.

The curriculum consists of several education courses and a variety of computing courses in programming, web development, app development, computer hardware, networking, databases, ethics and methods of teaching computer science.

Entry Requirements

Form Six (VI)

  1. Two principal passes in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Geography, Economics , Computer or Advanced Mathematics.
  2. The two principal passes MUST make an aggregate of 4.0 points as a minimum or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

NTA LEVEL 6

  1. Holder of Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0 or holder of Diploma in Education majoring in Computer Science/Information Technology and Mathematics or Physics, or Chemistry or Biology, or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
